1. The service
RoofQualify provides a free, informational estimate of whether a roof may be suitable for solar, based on satellite/aerial imagery and public solar data. Results are educational estimates — not a professional engineering assessment, appraisal, or guarantee of suitability, savings, or eligibility for any program or incentive.
2. No guarantee
Estimates may be inaccurate or incomplete. Actual suitability, system size, costs, and savings depend on an on-site evaluation by a licensed solar professional. Do not make purchase or financial decisions based solely on a RoofQualify estimate.
3. Eligibility
The service is currently offered to homeowners of properties in California, United States. You must be 18 or older and the owner of, or authorized to act for, the property you submit.
4. Contact consent
If you submit your details and consent, you agree to be contacted about solar as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains how to opt out.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to submit accurate information, to submit only addresses you are authorized to submit, and not to misuse, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
6. Intellectual property
The service, including its content and software, is owned by Double Vision USA LLC and its licensors. Solar data may include data provided by Google and NREL and remains subject to their respective rights.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Double Vision USA LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your reliance on an estimate.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
